These unique docks are DNR approved and no permit is required before, during, or after installation. In today’s green-sensitive environment the DNR has applauded Custom Boardwalks since they are built over aquatic plant life and don’t disturb wildlife.

The professionally installed permanent dock  stay in year round eliminating the need of yearly Installation and removal. Besides being attractive and permanent, these docks are rock solid giving you and your visitors years of enjoyment and use. We back them with a 40 year warranty.  The permanent piers are made of high strength steel and the Custom Boardwalks decking is made of treated 2 x 6 or 2 x 8 inch wood material or an optional high strength aluminum.

Unlike Custom Boardwalks' permanent installation, traditional portable docks require constant attention, a place to store them and the unsightly accumulation of docks pulled up on banks or create an obstructed view.
